About the position

This is how you help build our organization

  • You are the mastermind of our daily operations: the go-getter who ensures that colleagues can focus fully on their own profession.
  • Our monumental building in Rotterdam-West is your domain; you ensure that office supplies are in stock, there is always a fresh flower, and everything simply looks tip-top.
  • As the face of the office, you warmly welcome our visitors and immediately ensure a good first impression.
  • You are the central point of contact for all facility-related questions and activities; you just get it done.
  • You bring the fun: together with our Communications and Marketing Manager, you organize sparkling team outings, cozy dinners, and our monthly lunch & learns full of inspiration.
  • You assist with HR tasks, from processing applications and contracts to giving new colleagues a warm welcome.
  • You work closely with the management and assist one of our board members with agenda management.
  • You have a keen eye for detail: you see what needs to be done even before anyone asks and love figuring things out and organizing them independently.

Who you are

  • You are a connector with a passion for organizing and have a no-nonsense attitude.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role as an office manager.
  • Experience performing administrative HR tasks.
  • You work accurately and systematically, and have strong communication skills.
  • You speak and write Dutch fluently and can also manage perfectly well in English.
  • You are independent, take a proactive approach, and enjoy working in the creative sector.
  • You feel at home in a creative, dynamic environment where there is a lot of collaboration.

What we offer

  • A good salary based on your knowledge and experience (in accordance with scale 3 of the SFA collective labor agreement).
  • The opportunity to work 24 to 32 hours per week.
  • Working from our renovated monumental building in Rotterdam-West.
  • Training and development opportunities with an annual budget of €1,000.
  • You will join a close-knit and enthusiastic team of approximately 30 colleagues, where an open culture and short lines of communication are central.
